The vercontrol.exe process is an EXE program file included with other executable application resources, certain system driver utilities, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, particular background process items and various associated components that are used by the iTunes Export Wizard software. This application is a Windows program classified as an applet integrated into the iTunes software. The iTunes Export Wizard software is responsible for implementing iTunes-related exportation functions into the system. The vercontrol.exe process is specifically deployed as one of the components of the iTunes Export Wizard application. This means the vercontrol.exe process is unloaded unto the system upon the installation of the iTunes Export Wizard program and the associated iTunes software. The vercontrol.exe file is also integrated into the installer distribution packages of the iTunes software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. vercontrol.exe. is used by Apple iTunes and Apple iTunes Export Wizard, If you shut down vercontrol.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop vercontrol.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Apple iTunes and Apple iTunes Export Wizard, from your system.

Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
