The uvnx.exe file is one of the executable files of the UPnP Manager of Microsoft Windows. UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play and it allows devices to become connected through the network. These devices include personal computers, home appliances, consumer electronics and wireless devices. UPnP follows the standards of Internet Protocol Suite, HTTP, XML, and SOAP. UPnP possesses control points that use UPnP protocols. These protocols are the ones that control the UPnP devices. The uvnx.exe file executes the software from which it has come from. When the software has been activated, the EXE file enables the user to call on its features. The UPnP Manager performs its tasks and through the uvnx.exe file, it can easily integrate devices within the network. It can possess an IP address, display what it can do upon request and acknowledge the presence and abilities of the other devices that are present in the network.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. uvnx.exe. is used by UPnP Manager, If you shut down uvnx.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop uvnx.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is UPnP Manager, from your system.
