The usrreq.exe file is an executable application process distributed with other EXE program files, certain SYS drivers, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, particular background processes and various associated components that are needed by the Avira Premium Security Suite software. This application is a Windows program classified as a set of system security tools that was developed by Avira GmbH with features for monitoring, detecting and protecting Windows-based systems against user privacy threats, hacker attacks, data security risks and system stability problems caused by malicious programs like spyware items, Trojans, viruses, worms and other malware components. The usrreq.exe process is specifically deployed as a component of the AV7 Firewall Popup module, which is an applet built into the Avira Premium Security Suite software, and this module is responsible for alerting the user about certain firewall events among other important notifications via popup messages. The usrreq.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Avira Premium Security Suite software, which also means the usrreq.exe process is integrated into the installer distributions of this system security program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. usrreq.exe. is used by Avira Premium Security Suite and AV7 Firewall Popup Module, If you shut down usrreq.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop usrreq.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Avira Premium Security Suite and AV7 Firewall Popup Module, from your system.
