The unikey.exe process is an EXE program file distributed with other executable application resources, certain system driver files, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, particular background process items and various associated components that are required by certain Vietnamese language packs for widely used text editors and word processing applications for Windows-based systems. These Vietnamese language packs are applets that implement Vietnamese unicode translation and encoding functionalities into associated text editors and word processors. The unikey.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable dispatcher file of these Vietnamese language packs, which means users can execute the unikey.exe file in order to integrate Vietnamese unicode and translation features into supported text editing and word document development programs. Upon the implementation of the unikey.exe process and the associated Vietnamese language pack into the system, users can type text with Vietnamese symbols and characters because of the integration of compatibility support into certain text editors and word processing tools by the unikey.exe process and the associated Vietnamese language pack.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. unikey.exe. is used by Vietnamese Language Pack for Certain Text Editors and Word Processing Software, If you shut down unikey.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop unikey.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Vietnamese Language Pack for Certain Text Editors and Word Processing Software, from your system.
