The truewizard.exe file is an EXE application resource process bundled with other executable program files, certain SYS driver items, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, particular background processes and various associated component resources that are needed by the TrueSwitch software. This application is a Windows program classified as an ISP (Internet Service Provider) Internet connection management and switcher tool that was developed by Verizon for their subscribers. The TrueSwitch application is installed in client computers of Verizon subscribers that can allow them to switch between available Internet connections from different ISPs. The truewizard.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher of the TrueSwitch Wizard module, which is an applet built into the TrueSwitch software that guides users in configuring certain settings of the TrueSwitch software. The truewizard.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the TrueSwitch software,which also means the truewizard.exe process is distributed along with the installer packages of the TrueSwitch software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. truewizard.exe. is used by TrueSwitch and TrueSwitch Wizard Module, If you shut down truewizard.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop truewizard.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is TrueSwitch and TrueSwitch Wizard Module, from your system.
