The toshibaServiceStation.exe file is the process file for TSS or Toshiba Service Station, a suite of network management software for developed by Toshiba Corporation for Toshiba laptops. ToshibaServiceStation.exe comes in a WinZIP file format, a self-installing ZIP file. When extracted and installed, the program enables the computer to automatically and periodically search for product updates and alerts that are essentially specific to the laptop. The functions and features of TSS include the following: • Fixes system crashes upon login. • Improves package downloads by the help of BITS or Binary Intelligent Transfer Service. • The Download and the Install buttons are combined. • A “Home Link” is provided in the Settings Page. • The Notification Level setting is removed. • Deletes the temporary or obsolete download files after they are installed. • Improved notification message formats. Installation features include: • Convenient location for saved files, such as Windows Desktop, etc. • Works in progress are auto-saved for convenient opening-closing functions. • A simple double-click to the Desktop icon will launch the installation. • A user-friendly Q&A for installation completion.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. toshibaservicestation.exe. is used by Toshiba Service Station, If you shut down toshibaservicestation.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop toshibaservicestation.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Toshiba Service Station, from your system.
