Also called as TOSHIBA Power Saver as its service name, the process toscosrv.exe, which is an instance of an executable or EXE file, is a component of the program TOSHIBA Power Saver, also TOSHIBA Face Recognition or TOSHIBA Value Added Package, which is developed by Toshiba Corporation. TOSHIBA Power Saver is basically a part of Toshiba EasyGuard power management software for their own laptops and notebooks. The file toscosrv.exe is not just a basic part, but an essential one, because it is digitally signed from TOSHIBA CORPORATION - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer. Therefore, it is recommended to keep the file stored and functional on the computer, and must not be terminated, unless it is causing problems or errors that affect the performance of the system. Speaking which, the toscosrv.exe file is compatible with versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. toscosrv.exe. is used by TOSHIBA Face Recognition or TOSHIBA Value Added Package or TOSHIBA Power Saver, If you shut down toscosrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop toscosrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is TOSHIBA Face Recognition or TOSHIBA Value Added Package or TOSHIBA Power Saver, from your system.
