What is taskbar.exe
There are four possible developers of the taskbar.exe process. First, it is an icon on the System tray developed by Belkin Bitronics. This is installed by the software which includes the developer’s 4-port and 2-port Autoswitch shares for printers. This enables sharing of a single printer for two to four computers. It also allows switching between two to four instruments that need to use the only printer port of the computer. Second, the taskbar.exe file may be associated with Redline RegTweak, a utility for the Windows System Tray. This enables users to configure their Sapphire graphics card to distinguish gaming from regular, daily operations. The card may be adjusted in terms of TCL, compression, screen settings, antialiasing and textures. Third, the taskbar.exe process may be part of Registry Tweak or Taskbar Hide, which was developed by Bryon Montgomerie. This program uses a visible window and also has an icon on the taskbar near the computer clock. Finally, the taskbar.exe file may also cause problems as part of the virus W32.Frethem.L@mm and should be immediately removed from the user’s system.
