The file symtdi.sys is part of Symantec Security Drivers. The process that the file executes on the system is known as Network Dispatch Driver. The file is considered as a core component of Symantec Security Drivers which basically translates to the file being allowed to run upon startup and run while the computer is open and running. From what users have experienced with regards to the file, it appears to cause frequent Blue Screen of Death problems. It may appear after booting the PC, and it may also appear when the user tries to access the system from screensaver mode. The problem seemed to have stemmed from the symtdi.sys file being outdated.
