Many user reports claim that the svchost1.exe process is an executable file associated with the AGOBOT.ZZ worm, which is a malicious application that can negatively affect the stability of the system and the security or privacy of the data stored in hard disks and external data storage devices that are connected to the infected Windows-based computer. The svchost1.exe process has been reported to create entries and keys that can be injected into the Windows System Registry in order to allow the svchost1.exe process to automatically initialize during system startup and to continue to operate as a background process without user consent during system runtime. The svchost1.exe process has also been reported by some users as a malicious program that is capable of exploiting vulnerable TCP/IP network ports in order to download more malicious applications that can be used by its authors to gain unrestricted access to the resources of the infected Windows-based system.
