The stickies.exe file is an executable process implemented with the other executable program files, associated components, modular DLL components and system drivers that are needed by the Stickies software, which is a Windows program classified as an electronic note-taking program designed with a set of features for posting memos, notes and reminders in any section of the desktop. The stickies.exe process is placed in the system upon the successful installation of the Stickies software. The stickies.exe process is included in the installer distribution packages of the Stickies application, and the stickies.exe file is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher process of the Stickies software, which means the stickies.exe process can be activated by the user in order to load the Stickies application unto the system. The stickies.exe process and the Stickies program are embedded with compatibility support for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. stickies.exe. is used by Stickies, If you shut down stickies.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop stickies.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Stickies, from your system.
