The status.exe process is an ISP software for Supanet and is also known as Supastatus. This process supervises and shows the condition of the Supanet website. Exclusively developed for the Supanet website, it helps ensure that the Supanet is operating smoothly. It indicates whether the website is under maintenance or improvement or otherwise running well and makes the site accessible for viewing by the public. This is necessary for Supanet, which offers Internet access and other Internet-related services in the UK. On the Web, it runs on a memory requirement of 600KB (medium range). It is neither a system process or core file for Windows. While it is a valid program, it is not necessary to run status.exe at startup. This application runs along the path C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard\ status.exe. It is also susceptible to being replaced by malware of the same name.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. status.exe. is used by Supanet, If you shut down status.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop status.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Supanet, from your system.
