The stacsv.exe process belongs to C-Major Audio and is a C-Major Audio Service from SigmaTel, Inc. This EXE file is reported to use superfluous system and memory resources to the detriment of the user as it has no corresponding or known benefits. The stacsv.exe process presents an error code which is caused by a corrupt system file within the Microsoft Windows operating system. A hexadecimal format is said to appear when there is an error produced as this is the most prevalent error code used by Windows and similar Windows compatible driver providers and software applications. The Hexadecimal format (the stacsv.exe file’s error code) can be used by its creator in order to determine the error caused by the program. The stacsv.exe file’s error message is usually caused by a system file failure of Microsoft Windows operating system. These error messages can cause harm in terms of the health of a user’s computer system. Possible causes of these error messages include, a partial file erasure, incorrect deletion of devices or utilities or an incomplete installation setup.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. stacsv.exe. is used by C-Major Audio, If you shut down stacsv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop stacsv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is C-Major Audio, from your system.
