The file ssonsvr.exe is also known as the Program Neighborhood which is from the software Citrix ICA Client. The software Citrix ICA Client is owned and developed by Citrix Systems. This file enables the user to work on remote desktops anytime and anywhere. The file can be found in the C\:Program Files and under the Citrix down the ICA Client. The file size is usually 37,136 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). But the size may vary on different version of Microsoft Windows Operating System (OS) such as the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The file is considered invisible for it provides no User Interface (UI) for the user to manipulate the behavior of the program. The user may remove the file by removing the entire program in which the process is associate with. This can be done by using the Add/Remove Program Utility which is located in the Control Panel of the Microsoft Operating System.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ssonsvr.exe. is used by Citrix ICA Cleint, If you shut down ssonsvr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ssonsvr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Citrix ICA Cleint, from your system.
