The spysweeper.exe file is a module known by the internal name Spy Sweeper Engine, also Spy Sweeper Client Executable, Spy Sweeper Retail Executable, Spy Sweeper SDK, or simply Spy Sweeper. This file is a component of the software Spy Sweeper, Spy Sweeper SDK, Spy Sweeper for MSN, Spy Sweeper Core, or Webroot Spy Sweeper, which is developed by Webroot Software, Inc. As its name suggests, Spy Sweeper is a type of antivirus and anti-spyware software for Windows computers and laptops. It is primarily made to protect the computer against viruses and spyware, as well as secure the information or data of the user. Since it runs in Windows OS virtual machines, the file spysweeper.exe is installed with all the modules bundled in the program on the computer system, and runs in the background during its startup or manual launching. Because of its essence to the performance and security of the computer, this file process must remain stored and running.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. spysweeper.exe. is used by Spy Sweeper, If you shut down spysweeper.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop spysweeper.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Spy Sweeper, from your system.
