The file is executed as a background Windows Service (sppsvc). It is a system service installed alongside the Windows operating system and is in protection with the Window’s File Protection. It runs as a NETWORK SERVICE account with few privileges on the local computer, as well as acting as the computer on the network. The file is executed as a program and can be initialized by the Service Control and therefore obeys the service control protocol. The service is an executable file and can run by itself. This process is considered to be an essential component of the computer system. The file is considered safe and secure by the users and does not pose the potential for harmful threats, though cautions should be exercised along with proper use.
