What is  spool.exe

The spool.exe file is considered a dangerous file, actually an advertising Spyware, which is created by RapidBlaster SpyWare. Depending on the antivirus program used, the file can be considered also as malware, Trojan-gen and Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.llo, or Backdoor.Win32.ServU-based. Sometimes, the file spool.exe is also known as FTP Serv-U Daemon, which can be seen in some common programs, such as Adobe Acrobat, WindowsDriver, NVIDIA Drivers , Exact Globe for Windows, MSDTC Mail Server, IP/TCP Services, and Serv-U. What this file does is technically tracks the browsing habits and activities of the user, and then distributes any data back to the author’s servers for the purpose of analysis. It also has the capability to call for pop-ups of advertisements when surfing the net. As a malicious file, spool.exe can definitely provide some serious threats to the user and his or her computer. It is advisable to remove the file once the user scans it using an antivirus application, or unexpectedly sees it running in the Task Manager.
