What is  sol.exe

Sol.exe is the executable file for Klondike, a solitaire card game. It is a game to exercise patience which people refer to as the patience game. Klondike works by taking a shuffled 52 cards without Jokers. One upturned card gets dealt to the left of the table, then six left-to-right downturned cards. Atop the downturned cards is an upturned card which is dealt to the farthest left downturned pile, down to the rest of the downturned cards until all piles gets to have an upturned card. All piles should look like the cards in the right figure. The light rectangles to the upper right, called four foundations, gets built by suit from the Ace (low rank in this game) down to the King, then the tableau piles are built down with alternate colors, with the partial or complete piles moved if built down with alternate colors as well. Empty piles are filled with the King or pile cards with a King. Klondike’s aim is to build up one stack of cards beginning with two and ending with a King for all the same suit. If this is accomplished, then the goal is to move it to a foundation to where the player previously put the Ace of that particular suit. When the player gets this done, it will have finished the suit, which makes the player win.
