The softinfo.exe process is also known as the Software Informer and it belongs to the software Software Informer and it is owned by the Informer Technologies. There is only minimal description gathered with this process. The application is not visible. The process can be removed from the Control Panel’s Add/Remove Programs applet. It is capable of monitoring applications, manipulating other programs and recording inputs. The process contains a technical security rating of 35% dangerous, which makes it relatively safe to run according to the users; however, it is suggested that the user operate this process in a cautious manner within his or her computer system; in order to avoid any potential pitfalls, the user needs to be made aware of the possibilities that this process may have some possible threats, such as worm, virus, Trojan, adware and other potential threats that needs to be taken care of, as well taking the necessary measures which can be done whenever this program is being run in order to promote the safety for the user’s computer system. It may be better to keep this program in operation and not be disabled as disabling it might cause the computer system to behave in an unpredictable manner.
