Avast! Internet Security contains the snxhk.dll file which provides the data needed in order to detect computer threats. The snxhk.dll file allows the Avast! Internet Security software to have an interface where the user are provided with big graphics for clearer identification of concepts, with security colors to label the status of the files and with a summary tab to display info on shield status, updates, virus definitions, version of the software and what mode is on. The snxhk.dll file provides the Security software with Cloud Services and Statistics which can be found in the Summary tab. Cloud Services show the user how the servers of Avast! protect the computer. It also has a button for Settings. Statistics, on the other hand, shows the performance of the software by displaying the number of files scanned in a certain period. A graph is also available to show these data. Avast! also has a technology on providing security updates to the user immediately.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. snxhk.dll. is used by Avast Internet Security, If you shut down snxhk.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop snxhk.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Avast Internet Security, from your system.
