The sms.exe file is a process called Sms, and a component of the software Sms, which is created by Jeko Ianev, a developer who publishes www.foxysoft.com/ and www.ianev.org. If the program is installed on a Windows computer, either a desktop PC, or a laptop, even in tablet or mobile phone, this file is also downloaded. Once downloaded, sms.exe process is registered in a particular registry key, stored on a folder location named C:\Program Files or C:\Documents and Settings, and starts to run in the background if the software is launched or opened. Unless causing problem to the performance of the computer, this file must remain running on the system. Otherwise, it is a module that is going to disable the software Sms, completely or partially, but even though, it can give effect to the program’s primary tasks. For any problem occurrence, the entire software can be removed and re-installed in case the sms.exe file is stopped, deleted or corruped.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sms.exe. is used by Sms, If you shut down sms.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop sms.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Sms, from your system.
