Basically known as the Smilebox Tray, the smileboxtray.exe file is a process for Windows computers from the application Smilebox, which is a program that allows creativity to be showcased, and is developed by Smilebox, Inc. Smilebox is an application that enables a user, of any age, to create beautiful and creative photos in collages, slideshows, birthdays and wedding invitations, e-cards, scrapbooks, etc., as well as videos for various uses. It also has the capability to share photos via the Internet, particularly using popular social networking sites. This program is an avenue of creativity and fun, because a user can personalize his or her photos and showcase it in different ways, such as photo sharing on Facebook, emailing to friends, burning in CDs or DVDs, printing, or simply storing in the computer for later views. As am essential part of the application, the smileboxtray.exe file must remain running, which is usually found in the folder C:\Documents and Settings.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. smileboxtray.exe. is used by Smilebox, If you shut down smileboxtray.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
