The smartmenu.exe is also known as the HP MediaSmart SmartMenu and it is owned by the Hewlett-Packard Company. It provides an update to the HP MediaSmart SmartMenu Software that is supposed by notebooks and operating systems. It can allow the user to switch between MediaSmart applications. This process is a running program. It is a 64-bit program that can operate with the privileges as the current logged in user account. It can be executed using the process Windows Explorer by Microsoft. The application has no visible window in the background and is a Verisign file. It is certified by a trustworthy company, though it is not a Windows core file. The smartmenu.exe is capable of monitoring applications and has a technical security rating of 15% dangerous, making it safe from damaging the computer system. The program can be erased from the computer system in the Control Panel, though it is advisable to keep the program just in case it runs the possibility of causing unexpected problems for the user’s computer.
