The smartdoctor.exe process is an executable file included with other system drivers, modular DLL components and program files that are used and referenced by the ASUS Smart Doctor software, which is an applet built into the firmware and driver software components of certain ASUS video cards and graphic adapter devices. The smartdoctor.exe process and the ASUS Smart Doctor program are also integrated into the firmware and driver software resources of certain ASUS motherboards, laptops and desktop PCs. The smartdoctor.exe process is packaged with the installer distributions of these ASUS firmware and driver software components, which means the smartdoctor.exe process is implemetned into the system alongside the other system drivers, program files and DLL modules of the associated ASUS firmware and driver software resources, upon the installation of the ASUS Smart Doctor software an the other components of the ASUS firmware and driver software package. The smartdoctor.exe process is specifically integrated into the firmware and driver software components of supported ASUS devices as the executable program dispatcher file of the ASUS Smart Doctor software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. smartdoctor.exe. is used by ASUS Smart Doctor, If you shut down smartdoctor.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop smartdoctor.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ASUS Smart Doctor, from your system.
