The siHbaWakeupService.exe process is an executable file that allows a user to access the application Silicon Image HBA Wakeup Utility. The action to be performed as far as executable files are concerned is, generally, to open an application so that the user can access its features. Silicon Image HBA Wakeup Utility is an application that has been developed by Silicon Image. Wakeup utility services are commonly installed in computers in order to wake them up from hibernation or stand-by mode at a given time. A computer enters the hibernation or stand-by mode when it has been powered on but not used for a specific period. In order to conserve energy, the stand-by feature was included. A wakeup utility service will rouse the computer from its sleep and allow it to perform as it normally would.
