The Drive Vaccine PC Restore Plus program has a version for standalone Windows-based systems and another version for Windows-based networks. The shieldtray.exe process is packaged with the installer distributions of the Drive Vaccine PC Restore Plus software, which means the shieldtray.exe process is placed in the system upon the installation of the Drive Vaccine PC Restore Plus application. The shieldtray.exe process is specifically implemented as one of the main components of the Shield Tray module, which is an applet integrated into the Drive Vaccine PC Restore Plus software, and the shieldtray.exe process is the executable dispatcher file which, when activated, launches the Shield Tray module, loads it unto the system and implements its functions in order to perform the requested operations of the user from the Drive Vaccine PC Restore Plus software.
