What is  shell.exe

The file Shell.exe is process which is also known as MS Shell or may be also known as Earlyon CafeCentra Client. Shell.exe is bundled in the Gsoft software and this software was developed and is literally owned by the Earlyon Technologies. This process is literally found in the C:\Documents and Settings and this process has the size of 177,248 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). This size may vary on different operating systems used such Microsoft Windows XP, Window Vista, Window 7. This software has the ability to record and to monitor the applications and has the ability to listen and as well as sends data in the open ports to the Local Area Network (LAN) and to the internet. This program usually started when the operating system is also started. The user may have the option to remove the process by removing the entire program namely Gsoft. This can be done so by through the use of the Add/Remove program located in the control panel of the Microsoft Operating system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. shell.exe. is used by Gsoft, If you shut down shell.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop shell.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Gsoft, from your system.
