What is  serwvdrv.dll

The module serwvdrv.dll is DLL files that function as a Microsoft Windows Universal Modem (Unimodem) serial wave driver. The Unimodem is the software component that controls devices that belong to the Windows modem device setup class. The modem driver is the .INF file, hardware drivers, and wave drivers that convert the wave data into the desired format before these are sent to the device. The Unimodem in Microsoft Windows operating systems serves as a universal modem or telephony service provider for fax and data modems. Application requests such as dialing and answering that are passed down from TAPI (telephony application programming interface), which is the default modem API control for Windows, are handled by the Unimodem. The Windows registry defines a series of commands that are required by a given modem to complete a TAPI request, and the result codes that are returned by the modem. Unimodem accesses the registry to get the result codes, command strings, and other information such as modem capabilities.
