What is  secureconnector.exe

ForeScout Technologies has created a Secure Connector. A Secure Connector is a dissolvable agent which the user downloads to his computer. It runs in a specific session then it dissolves. The secureconnector.exe file launches the functionalities of the Secure Connector software. The software can be permanently installed especially if it is being managed by the user. The software poses questions to the computer for purposes of providing security posture data. These data are forwarded to the ForeScout CounterACT NAC platform to check if the computer is rightfully eligible to belong to the network. The Secure Connector software provides data which the CounterACT solution uses in integrating with other solutions. CounterACT installs within a short time and delivers real value in a day. The data gathered follow a clear and smooth management process to establish network access control and maintain compliance. Through secureconnector.exe, Forescout is able to meet customer requirements by ensuring availability, scalability and access control demands of big corporations.
