The scanregw.exe process is also known as WinZip or Outerinfo. It belongs to WinZip or Outerinfo and it is owned by WinZip 8.1. The process contains no visible window. The application is not a Windows core file; however it is located in the Windows folder. The application starts when the Window is also starting. The application uses ports in order to connect to a LAN or the Internet. It is also capable of connecting to the Internet, hide itself and record inputs. The process contains a technical security rating of 77% dangerous, which makes the process highly risky according to the users; it is then suggested that the user run the process carefully within his or her PC system; the user needs to be very aware of the chances that this process may have some possible infections, such as virus, Trojan, spyware and other potential risks that needs to be taken care of, as well taking the much needed measures which can be followed whenever this program is being executed in order to promote the security for the user’s computer system.
