The saiicpl.exe file is most commonly associated with the process SmartAudio Control Panel. The file is digitally signed and the software that installs the file is licensed under Conexant Systems. Some laptop computers already come with the software installed. The applet installed with saiicpl.exe enables users to manipulate the audio function of their machines. The file is not a security risk and is a valid file that can run in the background. It is designed for Windows PCs, and is found to be highly compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate. Users did not experience any issues with the file, and most of them find the file helpful as it gives them the application needed to configure their machines’ audio functions. Most users also choose to keep the file enabled, to have it ready in case they need an audio device for their offline and online activities. Default file path for the process is C:\Program Files\Conexant\SAII\ saiicpl.exe.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. saiicpl.exe. is used by SmartAudio, If you shut down saiicpl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop saiicpl.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SmartAudio, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as SmartAudio, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
