What is  rtvosd.exe

The Realtek OSD for Volume/Mute is the other name of the file rtvosd.exe which belongs to the software called RtVOsd. This software was owned and developed by the company called Realtek Semiconductor. The program is essential in dealing with the Volume of the sound from the Personal Computer (PC). The file can be located usually in the C: Directory and is found under the sub folder of Program Files. The rtvosd.exe file has the known size of 1,024, 512 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The file size may change when the software is used in different version of Operating System (OS) such as the Windows XP, Windows Vista and the Windows 7. The program does not provide the user with a “User Interface” and it makes it an invisible program. The file does not belong to the Windows system core file and has the ability to input records. The file can be removed by removing the entire program in which the file is included upon installation. And the removal can be done by using Add/Remove process located in the Control Panel of Microsoft Operating System (OS).
