The file RTSS is the other name of the file rtss.exe. The file belongs to software called MSI Afterburner which was owned and made by the EVGA Company. The program is a system performance monitor regarding Riva Tuner. The file can be located in the C:\Program Files and has the known size of 143,360 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). But the file size may vary when used in different version of Operating System such as the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The file does not contain any visible window for the user to manipulate the functions of the file. The file is digitally signed by the maker which means that the file belongs to a trusted Company. The file can also monitor other programs. If there are problems with the file, the user may have the option to remove the file by removing the entire program in which the file is associated with. The user may use the Add/Remove Programs Utility located in the Control Panel of Microsoft Windows Operating System.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rtss.exe. is used by MSI Afterburn, If you shut down rtss.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rtss.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MSI Afterburn, from your system.
