The process rslinx.exe is an executable file that is known as RSLinx Communications Server or RSLinx Classic Communications Server. This is a property of the software RSLinx or RSLinx Classic, developed and designed by Rockwell Automation or Rockwell Software. RSLinx or RSLinx Classic is a popular communication server that can be installed on a computer. The software also caters to third party providers. It offers features like data collection, system analysis, and multiple software applications support to name a few. This software is best used in businesses as well as in office productivity purposes since it allows users to communicate remotely from one location to another. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rslinx.exe. is used by RSLinx or RSLinx Classic, If you shut down rslinx.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rslinx.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RSLinx or RSLinx Classic, from your system.
