The file rs_service.exe is a process known as RS_Service(Raw Socket service) which belongs to Acer Video Conference Manager and literally owned by Acer Incorporated. This software is not a part of the Windows core files. Usually, the software can be located in the C:\Program Files, and has the file size of 260,640 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). This program do not have a window which means that this process is not visible to the user. This software has the ability to listen to open ports on the Local Area Network (LAN) and can also send and receive data in the internet. In some cases, during the installation of the program and some processes were not working properly, the user will be provided with online support by Acer company. However, the user may have the option to remove the process be removing the entire program which is called Acer Video Conference Manager. This can be done by using the Add/Remove program located in the Control Panel of the Microsoft Windows Operating system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rs_service.exe. is used by Acer Video conference manager, If you shut down rs_service.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rs_service.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Acer Video conference manager, from your system.
