The rconsvc.exe process is an executable file considered to be a part of the Remote Console software, which is a free tool that allows users to gain access to an interactive command line prompt session while on an isolated or distant Windows system. It is located in the folder “C:\Windows\System32”. This process neither has Windows visibility nor considered to be a Windows core file. Since it is a remote console service by nature, it allows and enables clients to use Remote Console Client in order to run various remote sessions. Hence, it has been rated to be 71% dangerous on a technical security rating level. However, certain malwares and viruses can camouflage this process which requires users to continually scan their computer. The Remote Console software of this process is a free tool that permits the scanning of a network to detect other connected PCs.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rconsvc.exe. is used by Remote Console, If you shut down rconsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rconsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Remote Console, from your system.
