The raidxpert.exe module is an executable file and a Windows process that is known by the name RAIDXpert, which is the same name of the software that houses it, and a product created by AMD. As a running program, raidxpert.exe is launched on the system, once the application associated with it is installed on the computer. This file is executed by another module, which is raidxpertservice.exe, while the former can be also called by other processes for launching. It just means that raidxpert.exe is an important file to enable the software in providing primary functions. What AMD RAIDXpert does is to provide local and remote management, as well as monitoring, of all drives on the AMD Chipset SATA Controller, when this is found on the system network. A user can certainly manage and monitor the RAID arrays in his or her Microsoft Windows platform, or even through remote login to the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. raidxpert.exe. is used by RAIDXpert, If you shut down raidxpert.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop raidxpert.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RAIDXpert, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as RAIDXpert, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
