An instant messenger process called qq.exe is also known as the QQ which belongs to a Chinese instant messenger TENCENT QQ. This software supports online communications and has text messaging, video and as well a voice chat and file transfer. This process is located at C:\Program Files and has the known size of 1,585,152 bytes but sizes may vary on different Operating systems such as Windows XP and Windows 7. This process does not belong to the Windows core file. The program has a visible window and listens to port on the Local Area Network (LAN) and has the ability to send data on the both the local or internet. This program has the ability to connect to the internet and manipulate other programs. The user may uninstall the process by remove the QQ2006 or the QQ2011 software in the Add/Remove programs located in the control panel for Microsoft Window user. However, this software is Verisign signed file which means that this software belongs to a trusted company by the operating system which is Microsoft Corporation.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. qq.exe. is used by QQ messenger , If you shut down qq.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
