The qlbcontroller.exe process is the executable file for the Quick Launch Buttons, a utility software developed by Hewlett-Packard for HP computers and laptops. Quick Launch Buttons provides the users a quick access to the programs by simple button-clicking and typing to the keyboard. QLBcontroller.exe supports laptop and computer models and operating systems. The Quick Launch Buttons capacitates menu control for sound volume, internal and external displays, and the on and off mute functions. Typical buttons are rounded rectangle in shape, wider than taller, with descriptive captions in the center, and are activated when clicked by the mouse pointer or by combination of keystrokes. Quick Launch Buttons show the HP built-in tool tips, with brief description of the purpose of a particular button. Some of the common button widgets are: • The OK button that confirms and/or closes the window. • The Cancel button that cancels actions and closes the window. • The Apply button that confirms a selection or option. • The Close button that closes the window after the changes have been applied

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. qlbcontroller.exe. is used by HP Quick Launch Buttons, If you shut down qlbcontroller.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop qlbcontroller.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HP Quick Launch Buttons, from your system.
