The qbdagent.exe process is an executable file integrated with other modular components, program files and system drivers that are used and referenced by the QuickBooks Pro software, which is a program categorized as an accounting and financial data management tool designed by Intuit with a set of features that can allow users to document financial information and integrate taxation and statistical computations into their financial data. The installer distribution packages of the Intuit QuickBooks Pro software include the qbdagent.exe process as one of its required components, which also means the qbdagent.exe process is installed in the system upon the installation of the Intuit QuickBooks Pro program. This also means the qbdagent.exe process is normally stored in the same application folder where the other program files, system drivers and modular components of the Intuit QuickBooks Pro were installed in the system, which is normally in a sub directory under the Program Files directory of the system partition. The qbdagent.exe process is specifically implemented as one of the executable processes of the QBD Agent module, which means the system and the Intuit QuickBooks Pro software may need to execute the qbdagent.exe process whenever the user requests for certain functionalities from the Intuit QuickBooks Pro software that correspond to the associated features embedded in the QBD Agent module.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. qbdagent.exe. is used by Intuit QuickBooks Pro and Intuit QBD Agent Module, If you shut down qbdagent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop qbdagent.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Intuit QuickBooks Pro and Intuit QBD Agent Module, from your system.
