The file plfseti.exe is mostly associated with a process that provides support for Acer Web cameras integrated into their laptop units. The file is responsible for launching the functions of your integrated Web camera, mostly Acer’s Crystal Eye webcam. You may uninstall the file if you will not be using the webcam integrated onto your machine. If you will still be using the webcam and you know that you need the file, but you do not want it launching with every startup, you may remove the file from the startup entry list. This is not an important file that the startup process needs in order to complete system boot-up. You may choose to enable the file only when you will be using Crystal Eye webcam. The file’s command path is C:\Windows\plfseti.exe. It typically has a file size of 200,704 bytes. The file also appears to be associated with another process, but still for Acer laptops. This time, it is a process that is associated with the television tuner on select Acer machines.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. plfseti.exe. is used by Acer Crystal Eye Webcam Application, If you shut down plfseti.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop plfseti.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Acer Crystal Eye Webcam Application, from your system.
