The file photoshop.exe is a component of Adobe Photoshop. It is installed with the driver for the software. The process is responsible for updating the system’s Photoshop library, searching for compatible image files and storing these into the library, ready for use at any given time. The file launches its search and store function during startup. This means that the file is launched together with Windows once the user has logged-on to the system. If Adobe Photoshop is used on a regular basis, users do not advise disabling the file. On the other hand, users who know how to manage their Photoshop-compatible images, disable the file so it will not launch upon startup. There are users who find the check and update process of the file to slow down system startup. Sometimes, error messages will display when trying to launch the file. Error messages could display “adobelinguistic.dll was not found” or “photoshop entry point not found.” Usually, error messages of this type appear because of errors in the file’s registry.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. photoshop.exe. is used by Adobe Photoshop, If you shut down photoshop.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
