The pfusssct.exe process is an executable component file deployed among the program files, system drivers and modular components that are required by certain modules of the Fujitsu ScanSnap firmware and driver software. This means the pfusssct.exe process is bundled with the firmware and driver software distribution packages of certain Fujitsu scanners, and the pfusssct.exe process is installed in the system upon the installation of these associated Fujitsu firmware and driver software components. The pfusssct.exe process is also specifically built into the ScanSnap Manager module of these associated firmware and driver software resources, which means the pfusssct.exe process is activated by the Fujitsu firmware or driver software component whenever the ScanSnap Manager module and its integrated functionalities are required to be loaded unto the system. Upon its execution, the pfusssct.exe process calls on other system files and associated program files, then references required modular system and application-specific components, in order to carry out the operations requested by the Fujitsu firmware and driver software resources from the ScanSnap Manager module.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. pfusssct.exe. is used by Fujitsu ScanSnap Manager Module, If you shut down pfusssct.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop pfusssct.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Fujitsu ScanSnap Manager Module, from your system.
