What is  pdvd10serv.exe

The pdvd10serv.exe process is a type of executable module called as PowerDVD RC Service, which is bundled in a software product labeled as CyberLink PowerDVD, a product created by CyberLink. PowerDVD RC Service, in which RC stands for Remote Control, is a background process that allows a user to basically “remote control” the DVD or Blu-ray drive. This makes it easier and simpler for a user to operate his or her DVD and Blu-ray discs. When the PowerDVD by CyberLink is downloaded on a desktop computer or laptop, the pdvd10serv.exe file is also installed, particularly stored in folder C:\Program Files, and starts running in the background, especially when the program has been started. This file is important because it definitely enables the functions of CyberLink PowerDVD. If a user likes or needs to use the software product, then this component must be kept processing on the computer system, unless he or she has to uninstall it.
