The pdservice.exe process is also known as the Private Disk Service program which is owned by the Ultimaco Safeware AG. It is also a part of the Rescue and Recovery-Client or SafeGuard PrivateDisk or the Client Security Solution, which are all programs owned by Ultimaco Safeware AG. The process is a non-essential and the user needs manual download and installation of the pdservice.exe process in order for it to be found within the system. There are no malicious reports of the pdservice.exe file currently. It is up to the user whether he or she should retain or remove the application. The Private Disk Service program or the pdservice.exe process serves as an electronic safe within the computer system. It protects confidential data on PDAs, notebooks and PCs.
