The file pcsuite.exe, known as Nokia Launch Application, belongs to software Nokia PC Suite by Nokia. This software is a collection of tools that is used to establish an interface between the Nokia handset and computers that run on Microsoft operating systems. The application interface is simple, with a set of icons that show different tasks. The connectivity status appears on the left pane, while the task icons are on the right. This application allows users to synchronize Microsoft Outlook from the desktop to the phone, or use the phone as a modem for Internet access. It t enables users to push software updates on the phone, share files between the phone and the PC, or use the PC to send SMS messages. The ability to backup and update the phone, and the integration for calendars, music, contact, and photo files is a handy addition for the Nokia handset. This application is closed source software and is required to access certain aspects of Nokia handsets.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. pcsuite.exe. is used by Nokia PC suite, If you shut down pcsuite.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop pcsuite.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Nokia PC suite, from your system.
