What is osppsvc.exe
A process that is commonly known as Microsoft Office Software Protection Platform comes with the executable file osppsvc.exe. It is part of the Microsoft Office software that basically serves as a licensing program to prevent software piracy. The file has been detected as hogging CPU memory. It automatically launches when the user opens any MS Office application. However, the problem that most users have reported is that while the file automatically starts when you open Office apps, it does not automatically terminate when you close down your Office apps.
