The process known as OLPSYNCH is related to the file olpsynch.exe. The olpsynch.exe file appears to be the main executable for the software Offline Course Player. This software is intended for users who are using the Microsoft e-Learning system. Basically, what the file provides is an application that enables users to view their courses even when they are not connected to the Internet. The file is generally installed on the computer when the user downloads their coursework from the Microsoft e-Learning portal. This means that the file is automatically installed on your system when you download your e-Learning course from Microsoft. The file is a valid file from Microsoft. This is not an essential system file so you may uninstall or disable it when you no longer need to view your courses offline, or once you have completed your coursework. Standard file location is C:\Program Files\Offline Course Player\olpsynch.exe. File size averages at 36,864 bytes.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. olpsynch.exe. is used by OLPSYNCH, If you shut down olpsynch.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop olpsynch.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is OLPSYNCH, from your system.
