The oem02mon.exe process is also known as the Creative Live! Cam Console. It is opened and executed in the System Tray and the icon is installed on the Startup tab within the drivers of the user’s Creative webcam. It may also come pre-installed within some Dell PCs that are pre-packaged with a Dell webcam. The program uses minimal memory of 2Mb to 5Mb, so it is recommended to be kept in the startup task, so that it can be readily available in the System Tray. This program needs to be adjusted for increased brightness, contrast and the like, in order to provide the most optimal functionality of the computer system. This program is considered to be safe by the users to maintain in their PC system. It should not be removed as it may cause unnecessary problems when operating the Creative Cam, which would prove to be inconvenient. It is an executable file.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. oem02mon.exe. is used by Creative Live! Cam Console, If you shut down oem02mon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop oem02mon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Creative Live! Cam Console, from your system.
