The process name for the file nvcpl.dll is rather long: NVidia Control Panel Display Properties Extension applet. The file runs upon system booting by default, and also executes itself as a background process. The process provides users with additional configuration options to utilize the special features of your NVidia graphics cards. These additional features are generally only configurable through the use of the special tabs provided by the nvcpl.dll file.
